Our Work in Ecuador

JRS Ecuador supports the personal, economic, social, and political security of refugees. Through legal advocacy, JRS Ecuador raises awareness about the basic rights of migrants. They also work to encourage the inclusion and integration of refugees in host communities through participatory community programs.

JRS’s work in Ecuador is supported by the United States Department of State Bureau of Population Refugees and Migration.

Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Displaced people often experience trauma due to their displacement. These services aim to meet the variety of complex psychosocial needs.

Emergency Assistance In crisis and conflict, relief assistance – shelter, food, water, sanitation, and non-food items – are needed to ensure the survival of people in emergency situations.
