Advocacy
Join JRS/USA in advocating for just policies that welcome refugees and other forcibly displaced people.
A vital part of Jesuit Refugee Service’s mission is to defend the rights of refugees and migrants throughout the world. JRS/USA advocates for just and generous policies and programs so people made vulnerable by forcible displacement can receive support and protection, and so a durable solution to their plight can be achieved.
You can help us advocate by contacting your policymakers to ask for their support. Your voice is vital in helping refugees.
You can also join us for our 2025 JRS/USA Advocacy Day to make a difference. Raise your voice to demand funding for humanitarian assistance, promote foreign aid that helps people choose to stay and thrive in their home countries, and urge just policies for those seeking protection in the US and in other countries.
