Most Holy Mother, in your silent waiting by the tomb of your Son, you show us the deepest faithfulness. You teach us to remain steadfast in times of desolation, to trust in God even when the future seems uncertain.

As we contemplate your pain, we see ourselves reflected in the tragedies that afflict our world. The atrocities we live through, the broken lives, the displaced brothers and sisters, and the suffering of so many call us to action. At the foot of the cross, Mother, we learn that the resurrection only makes sense if we live it by embracing the suffering of others and accompanying them in their cross.

In your silence by the tomb, we find comfort and understanding in the paths we often cannot comprehend, but which call us to be bearers of light amid darkness, invited to live not only with words but with actions, accompanying those who suffer, as brothers and sisters, in the shared pain of the cross.

May your example of trust and faithfulness inspire us to walk in faith, not to lose hope, and to be bearers of that light which lies beyond the tomb, in the promise of the new life that only God can offer.
