A Lenten Journey of Reflection and Solidarity
Deepen Your Faith Through Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving
This season of Lent, Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) invites you to reflect on our attitudes toward refugees and other forcibly displaced persons. Do we see them as threats, or as brothers and sisters in need? Do we turn away, or do we open our hearts to their suffering?
Our Lenten journey is an opportunity to break down walls of division and recognize that we are all part of one human family, created in the image of God.
Weekly Reflections & Calls to Action
Throughout Lent, you will have access to:
✔ New weekly reflections to guide your spiritual journey
✔ Three calls to action each week focusing on prayer, fasting, and almsgiving
✔ Opportunities to deepen your faith and embrace a spirit of reconciliation and encounter
Answer the Call to Compassion
May this Lenten season be a time of deep transformation, leading us to greater compassion and solidarity with those who suffer—particularly forcibly displaced individuals.
Through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, may we become instruments of peace, reconciliation, and hope in a world longing for the light of Christ.
